 Highlights of the Jordan Transformation Ministries

5 YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN (2015-2020)

  • Through our Evangelism/Outreach/Missions movement we are targeting to reach 10,000 residents with community support services for the residents of Nairobi, Kwale, Daresalaam and Kampala by 2020. The population includes:

a) Young Adult Families (Young Adult ages 16-40) with school-age children (children Ages birth to 17)

b) Single mothers (Single mothers ages 16-40) with school-age children (children ages from birth to 17)

c) Senior Citizens

d) Income Ranges from $10,000 to $35,000

e) Demographics – African, African-American, Europeans and Hispanics

f) Education - No High School Diploma, High School Diploma, and Bachelor's Degree

  • Increase the membership (discipleship)  by 100% through Community Outreach, Servant Evangelism, Membership Drive, Assimilation, and Spiritual Development.

  • Develop three ministry programs per year that are aligned with Jordan Transformation Ministries’s Vision/Mission Statement and strategic plan.

  • To develop a fundraising committee to organize financially sound fundraising events that are aligned with the Vision and Mission Statement of Jordan Transformation Ministries.

  • Develop a Re-Entry program for former inmates.

  • To purchase a mixed-use building.

  • To purchase a commercial van.

  • To develop two to three community partnerships per year that are aligned with Jordan Transformation Ministries’s Vision/Mission Statement and strategic plan.

 

* The strategic plan will be closely monitored by the Pastor, Board of Directors, and the Community Partners of Jordan Transformation Ministries each quarter to ensure that the Jordan Transformation Ministries is progressing working to complete each goal.

 

 

THE PROGRAMS OF JORDAN TRANSFORMATION MINISTRIES

Gentlemen, Enhancing Their, Neighborhood, Through A, Structured Lifestyle.  G.E.N.T.S. is a male-mentoring program designed for young men ages 10-18.

Entrepreneurial Workshops.  These workshops are FREE and are designed for anyone who is curious or has a desire to own their own business.

  • Community Support Referrals. Every Wednesday night in collaboration with Jordan Transformation Ministries’s Worship Center, a Community Support Referral developed for the residents of Nairobi, Kwale, Dare salaam and Kampala in regards to housing, food pantries, medical/health, employment, and various other community support agencies.

  • Back to School Supply Drive. Jordan Transformation Ministries gave out school supplies to the children of Kwale year 2014 & 2015.

  • Thanksgiving Baskets to low-income families.

  • Winter Coat Drive. participated in donating coats to low-income families. 

  • Development an educational program. Develop an Early Childhood Program, elementary, and middle school for the families of Nairobi & Kwale.

  • Develop a housing program. Jordan Transformation Ministries will seek funding and support programs to develop a housing program for single males/females and for single parents.

  • To develop a fundraising committee to organize financially sound fundraising events that are aligned with the Vision Statement of Jordan Transformation Ministries.

  • To develop a business office that will focus on grant writing, accounting, and annually reporting to Jordan Transformation Ministries and federal agencies.

  • Develop a Re-Entry program for former inmates.

  • To purchase a mixed-use building.

  • To purchase a commercial van.

 

* The strategic plan will be closely monitored by the President/CEO, Board of Directors, and the Community Partners of Jordan Transformation Ministries each quarter to ensure that the Community Development Corporation, is progressing working to complete each goal.

At Jordan Transformation Ministries, our pledge is to maintain effective outreaches by being good stewards of the resources entrusted to us. We have a responsibility to maintain integrity and openness in our financial practices. Therefore, we are committed to fulfilling the following standards:

  • We are governed by a responsible Board of Directors. Our Board establishes policies, sets budgets, oversees operations and reviews organizational accomplishments.

  • Our financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

  • We obtain an annual audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards by an independent public accounting firm, and professional tax services .

  • Our Board appoints an audit committee to review the annual audit and tax filings.

  • Contributions to Jordan Transformation Ministries are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Jordan Transformation Ministries is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA)

At Jordan Transformation Ministries, accountability and transparency are an integral part of everything we do. From every purpose restricted donation, Jordan Transformation Ministries Board of Directors may allocate between 12% and 20% of that donation to cover its administrative and fundraising costs. If restricted donations exceed the need of the crisis, the capacity to respond to a crisis and/or when local conditions prevent effective assistance, Jordan Transformation Ministries Board of Directors may allocate these funds to other worthy projects that help Jordan Transformation Ministries fulfill its global mission of helping children and families in need.
